Sales Manager

The Sales Manager is responsible to plan, action and take ownership to drive all sales, both proactive and reactive, within the hotel and local market place, in partnership with the cluster Sales and Marketing team to meet budgeted revenue across all segments of the business. You will take a lead role in clarifying and communicating the personal responsibilities and accountabilities in conjunction with the hotel General Manager to all stakeholders ensuring a consistent and targeted approach to all revenue streams. Additionally, you will manage the MICE office within the hotel maximising all sales opportunities.

Restaurant and Bar Manager

The role of our Restaurant and Bar Manager/ess is to support, plan and direct all restaurant, bar and garden operations. You will maintain the high standards of food and drink, service and health and safety practices within your restaurant and bar. You will manage the training and development needs of your team. You will also support the Food and Beverage Manager and support in the delivery of the financial targets and driving the business financial performance.

As the Restaurant and Bar Manager/ess, you will be joining at a very exciting time. Our Summer Garden is newly opened and you will share responsibility for the day to day management of this busy restaurant operation, whilst managing the lounge, the bar, and our outdoor garden.

You will have a friendly and caring personality, be able to keep calm under pressure, be confident, organised and maintain a hands-on supervisory management approach. You will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, a guest first approach and a real passion for great service delivery. Able to work autonomously or as part of a team, you are motivated, encouraging and inspirational with a passion for supporting, developing and coaching others.

Reception Manager

Inspiring and engaging. As the Reception Manager, you will show your leadership and interpersonal strengths, and ensure an exceptional guest journey. This role would suit someone who is passionate about and has the desire to progress their career in hospitality management. You will have a service focused personality and previous leadership experience is required. Technical confidence, particularly with one of the recognised hotel PMS systems, would be a distinct advantage.

Reception Team Lead

One of the first purpose-built hotels in Europe, Queens Hotel was built on the site of the original Sherborne Spa, and became used as suitable accommodation for the nobility and royalty who visited Cheltenham to restore, renew and revive.

The Queens Hotel Cheltenham is one of the first purpose-built hotels in Europe. The hotel was declared then, as now, as ‘one of the noblest buildings of its kind in Europe’. Queens Hotel was opened on the 21st of July 1838, named in honor of Queen Victoria whose coronation fell in the same year.

Executive Head Housekeeper

Inspiring and engaging. As the Executive Head Housekeeper it goes without saying, you will have an exceptional eye for detail and a fastidious approach to cleanliness and standards! You will manage the housekeeping function and team to ensure hotel guest rooms, public areas and operational back of house spaces are immaculate and well maintained. Technical confidence, particularly with one of the recognised hotel PMS systems, would be a distinct advantage.
