Competition ​​​terms and conditions:

1 – The promoter is The Queens Hotel Cheltenham, The Promenade, Cheltenham GL50 1NN

2 – The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of The Queens Hotel Cheltenham and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation.

3 – There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition. Alternatively, to enter for free, like our Afternoon Tea post on Instagram (linked below), tag a friend in the comments, and share to your story tagging @queenshotelcheltenham and @edibleartpatisserie and use the hashtag #RoyalTeaCompetition. If your account is private don’t forget to send a screenshot of your story to @queenshotelcheltenham.

4 – By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

5 – Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will not be counted. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

6 – Closing date for entry will be at 1pm on Thursday 1st June 2023. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

7 – The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows. Visit The Queens Hotel before the end of May to enjoy a special Coronation Afternoon Tea and snap a photo of the experience to share.​ Upload your photo to Instagram and tag @queenshotelcheltenham and @edibleartpatisserie. Post with the Hashtag #RoyalTeaCompetition

The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.

The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

9 – The prize is as follows: One three course meal for two at Victoria’s restaurant in The Queens Hotel Cheltenham including a very special dessert from Edible Art. Subject to availability. 

The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.

10- Winners will be chosen at random by software, from all entries received and verified by Promoter and or its agents.

11 – The winner will be notified via Instagram after 2pm on 1st June 2023, by tagging the winning account in a comment on their posted photo. The Queens Hotel account may also contact the winner via direct messenger. The winner will only ever be contacted by The Queens Hotel Cheltenham. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
